A Piece for Chamber Orchestra and Two Soloists

Not Created or Destroyed, for Solo Violin, Solo Cello, and Strings, was composed by Gloria for the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra.  The piece was written in memory of Kathleen Carroll, a dear friend and musical colleague.  Here are live recordings of the two movements, Radiance and Breath, from the World Premiere at the First Congregational Church in Berkeley, CA, on Dec. 31, 2009.  Solo Violin: Gloria Justen, Solo Cello: Eric Gaenslen, Conductor: Benjamin Simon, San Francisco Chamber Orchestra.  (The original titles of the movements were Dialogue and Elegy.)
