A house or garden concert is an intimate musical experience, with the musicians right in front of you! You can feel every vibration of their instruments, watch them up close, and interact with them in lively discussions.

During this current situation of sheltering in place and social distancing, you can still host a private concert via live-streaming and Zoom or Youtube. You can invite your family and friends to an online concert and an intimate discussion about the music. Let’s discuss your options!

I love performing at house concerts, because the connection with the audience is so personal. I always share the background of the music I play, whether it’s my own or by another composer, in order to help the audience understand what to listen for and why this music is interesting. Since it’s in such a cozy setting, I can really feel the energy of the listeners as we go on a musical journey together. During the breaks between pieces and at the end of the show, I invite questions, and sometimes there are lively discussions at the end of the concert. It’s very fulfilling to interact with my audience in this way!

Please contact me by using the form below if you are interested in hosting a concert at your location. It is easy to be a host! I will send you a checklist.

You can fully curate the guest list yourself, or you can host using the Groupmuse.com platform, which opens the event up to a community of classical house concert enthusiasts. Either way, house concerts are usually offered on a donation basis. Another option is for the host to simply pay me a flat fee. Please contact me to discuss all of these details.
